Looking for a Los Angles wedding videographer? We offer experienced, talented, professional, reliable and affordable wedding videographers and photographers in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Our most affordable photo and video packages start at only $1200 per wedding.
Looking at the wedding photos and watching the wedding films allows the newlyweds, their family members and friends to come back to that moment and re-live it all again. Being able to experience the memories and excitement of the day becomes increasingly important as time goes by and everyone gets older. In fact, forgetting to hire a wedding videographer is one of the biggest regrets of most married couples. There are two main advantages of hiring the same company to do video and photo. First, the photographer and videographer work together as one team, stay out of each others way and help each other during the wedding. Second, it makes things easier for the couple and saves them a good amount of planning time and money. Why choose us over our competitors? Our company has excellent reputation on Google, Yelp and WeddingWire and, over the years, several hundred couples have enjoyed our services. We respond to all questions and inquiries within 24 hours. We guarantee to deliver the films within 4 weeks. Our prices are the lowest in the industry. We also offer wedding live streaming services. Interested? AFFORDABLE WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER LOS ANGELES FAQ:
What types of events do you shoot? In addition to weddings, we provide affordable photography and videography for quinceaneras, sweet 16 parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, debuts, memorial events, seminars and corporate celebrations. We also have experience in music video production, real estate shoots, business presentations and commercials. In addition to photo and video, we can help with music, sound, AV equipment and affordable event lighting rental services.
Who will be my wedding videographer? Our team consists of several professionals with years of training and experience. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a specific name of the person who will be your wedding cinematographer, because it depends on how many weddings we have to film that day, which packages you and other clients select, the location of the wedding venue and availability of our team members. Everyone in our team has the same style of filming and all the editing is done personally by our company owner Charlie Walkrich. In other words, your final product would look very similar to the samples that you see on this website.
What areas/cities do you service? Our affordable wedding videography services are available anywhere in Southern California including Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. We are also open to traveling further away to participate in other types of video production services. We look forward to working with you!
How and when will I get the videos? If you book the $1200 "basic" package, the raw footage will be sent to you on a USB
flash drive within a few days after the wedding. However, if you choose the "popular" package or the "all-inclusive" package, this process will take a couple of weeks since we would need to work on your wedding story edits first.
How do I know that you will show up for sure? That is a great question and a valid concern, since some "unprofessional" cinematographers and other so-called best wedding vendors make beautiful promises but never show up to do the job. However, this has never happened to us. Since most people find us through Yelp, Facebook, Google or word of mouth, our online reputation is extremely important and we absolutely cannot put it at risk by not showing up on our client's wedding day. Even If there is an emergency or accident, we have a team of backup videographers who can cover for the primary videographer.
In what format are the videos? It's going to be MP4 HD 1080p 16:9. It should work on all computers, tablets, smartphones, TVs and other devices. If it doesn't work, it's an easy six. Simply install any free video player that can open MP4 files. There are hundreds of them available online. Our favorite one is called "GOM video player".
How do you record audio? With the "basic" and "popular" packages we use built-in camera mics. The sound is good enough for most people and everything can be heard clearly. If you'd like to reduce background noise and improve the overall audio quality, we recommend adding an extra camera mic to your package for $100. For the highest quality of wedding films, we offer an option of adding an external sound recorder that will be connected directly to your DJ's sound board for $250. The above fee also includes syncing the audio with the video during the editing process.
What does the videographer do during cocktail hour and dinner? Do I have to pay for that time? First of all, the hours of coverage always have to be consecutive. In other words, you’re paying for your videographer’s time, not the length of the video. Having said the above, if there is a very long break (2+ hours) between your ceremony and reception and you’re not going to need your wedding cinematographer during that time frame, we can offer you a small discount by charging half of standard hourly rate for the wait/idle time. Feel free to email us with your event details and we would be happy to give you an exact price quote. As for your initial question, the videographer usually has plenty of things to do and activities to capture during cocktail hour and dinner. This includes guest interviews, decorations, centerpieces, scenery, photo taking, as well as other important work-related tasks such as changing camera batteries, adjusting settings, letting the sensors cool down, charging batteries, preparing to capture important activities that start after dinner, etc.
Does your short edited highlight trailer video include original sound or would it be music only? At this time our trailers do not include any original sound recorded on the cameras. If you would like to hear yourself speaking in the video, we recommend a full edited ceremony movie or a 30-minute edited reception movie - they both come with original sound recorded on the cameras. As for the trailer, it usually comes with a background song of your choice and no original sound. This allows us to be more efficient while keeping the cost down. If you have a flexible budget, please keep in mind that we offer custom edits and we might be able to create a special custom video tailored to your specific needs.
How many years have you been in business? Our company was established in 2010. Since that time, we have supplied affordable videographers, photographers, DJs, sound and lighting technicians at hundreds of weddings and events across Southern California. If you're looking for an experienced and reliable wedding service provider, we are a great match!
Why are your services so cheap? There are several reasons for this. 1) Since we have plenty of online reviews and referrals, we do not spend much money on advertising. 2) We do not spend a ridiculous amount of money on equipment. 3) We have a team of several people, which allows us to make more money by doing multiple weddings/events every weekend. 4) In addition to Los Angeles wedding videography, we offer photography, lighting, AV rental and DJ services. Many clients book us for all of the above, which significantly increases the total order amount. If you prefer to consider a more expensive and higher end wedding videography service, we recommend Walkrich Signature Events.
Do you require a meal? No, we do not. In fact, most of the time we don't even have time to eat since we do guest interviews during dinner time. However, if you'd like to feed your wedding vendors on your special day, you may still go for it and we would be grateful :)
How soon after my wedding will I receive the videos? This depends on which package you choose. Our "basic" package comes with raw (unedited) footage only. Because we don't have to do anything with it, you'll get it in the mail within a week after your wedding. However, if you choose one of the better, more expensive packages, we would need some extra time to do the editing/post production so you should expect to receive your best wedding videos along with raw footage within 2-4 weeks after your big day. Overall, our turnaround time is among the fastest in the industry. Expedited video editing can also be provided for a small extra fee.
What makes you different from your competitors? We're much more business-oriented than most other videographers in LA. What should that mean to you? Instead of spending a lot of money on expensive unnecessary video equipment, we make things simple by using affordable brands and products that allow for sufficient quality at the same time. And those savings are passed on to you. In addition, instead of meeting with each client in person, we've designed a great online booking/panning tools that also save you lots of time and money. Last but not least, because we have more work than other Los Angeles wedding videographers, it allows us to charge less for each wedding while still making a profit.
How many hours of coverage should I get? Do they have to be consecutive? Most wedding videographers in Los Angeles require the coverage hours to be consecutive. Our policy is a little bit more flexible. If there is a break between your ceremony and reception and you won't need the videographer during that time, you would only need to pay us 50% of our hourly rate for the "wait" time. We would also help you determine specific coverage hours based on your timeline/agenda for the day. Please email us with your event information and we would be happy to assist you further.
What cameras do you use? We have experience with most leading camera brands including Sony, Panasonic and Canon. For the best colors and most cinematic look, we would normally use Panasonic GH5m2 or a similar camera. However, if there is a lot of movement and autofocus is required, Sony or Canon would work better in that situation. In other words, we have a variety of cameras that are suitable for different circumstances. If you have a specific vision for a certain look or video style, please let us know and it would be our pleasure to discuss it with you.
